This website monitors, summarizes, and provides links to current alcohol research articles in the journals listed at the left. The site is updated whenever a journal publishes a new issue, but we retain all our previous content to create a growing database that will become increasingly useful over time for researchers using our search engine. It's a powerful search engine that accepts Boolean operators and other useful searching tools (click on "Search Tips" at the right side of this window to learn about them). Starting in October 2004, each new record in our database has a field containing standard search terms relevant to that record from the thesaurus developed for the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA)*.
